Weddings have got their own trends just like any other aspect of our day-to-day life has. In the recent years, the number of love marriages has surged and love marriages have in fact got common among people of all classes. That is truly a good sign of better understanding of the concept of “love” among parents and elders, and those of celebrities are no exception!
As you dab ‘Enter’ to find what’s up with the people around, you perhaps come across a few posts on recent celebrity weddings or engagements. Knots tied between a hero and heroine, a VJ and a hero, or a well doing actress and businessman get trending and sensational, and these keep happening every now and then. Here is one such coverage of a recent wedding that made abuzz in the social media.

Reshmi Menon:
Out of her love for the media, Reshmi Menon enrolled for Visual Communication course at Women’s Christian College. As she was pursuing her course, she happened to accompany her friend for auditions for the film “Inidhu Inidhu” and the opportunity to play the female lead fortunately dropped on her hands. It marked her entry to the industry. This was then followed by her roles in “Burma”, “Maya”, “Kirumi” and the recent release “Urumeen” during when she fell in love with the terrific “Jigarthanda” villain, Bobby Simha!
Bobby Simha:
Here comes the villain turned hero! Started his acting career with short films, Bobby Simha made his way into the big screen with short, but notable appearances in films like “Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Eppadi” and “Pizza”. He then was roped in as a kidnapper in “Soodhu Kavvum” as among the four male leads all of whom were given equally noteworthy roles throughout the flick.
His plump cheeks and dimples are what he is known for in addition to acting and dialogue delivery! Deleting all these bubbly imageries about the actor, it was Karthick Subbaraj in his second film “Jigarthanda” that he gave Simha an all new look – a VILLAIN!

His rustic look in this Madurai based film should have appealed the young actress! The two then fell in love while working together for “Urumeen”, shared chemistry and decided to tie knots and the story came on stage with a nicely arranged engagement at Mylapore and 8th of November. Their engagement pictures were rolled out on the social media all of those were cute enough to absorb wishes from any random viewer.
Reshmi Menon was seen wearing a chilli red wedding Silk Saree, probably one from the Kanchipuram Silk Saree Online collection. The thick golden border boasting of the richness with Kanchi pattu saree truly adds the needed grace for the special day.

Though not present in the saree, the yellow colored blouse serves to be a perfect contrasting match to the Wedding pattu saree Reshmi was draped around. This arm length blouse was well decorated with patch works of deep red and green, enhancing the overall elegance. The subtle makeover with the perfect choice of neck piece, and haram, and layered with glowing makeover with the final touch added by the precise choice of lipstick are the plus of her engagement.
The couple are likely to tie knots in January 2016 and the dates are not disclosed yet. Follow us to know more on what’s with her wedding pattu saree.
